Images are received approximately every 4 days due to the limits of satellite transmission time and the amount of data which can be sent from the seafloor. Archives of completed images will be available here, the most recent image is displayed on the NeMO net homepage. Click on each photo to view the full-size image (larger file). The evolving blurry areas in the image are probably small colonies of microorganisms which are in the process of colonizing the viewing window of the camera's pressure housing. |
