A22

The A22 hydrographic survey consisting of LADCP/CTD/rosette sections and float deployments in the western North Atlantic was carried out October to November 2003. The R/V Knorr departed Port of Spain, Trinidad on 23 October 2003. A total of 82 LADCP/CTD/Rosette stations were occupied, and 3 profiling ARGO floats were deployed nominally along 65°W from 23 October - 13 November. Water samples (up to 36), LADCP and CTD data were collected in most cases to within 10 meters of the bottom. Salinity, dissolved oxygen and nutrient samples were analyzed from every bottle sampled on the rosette. The cruise ended in Woods Hole, Ma. on 13 November 2003.
