Kimberly Williams Kimberly is participating in NOAA's Teacher At Sea Program aboard the R/V Thompson. Kimberly teaches at Miller Place High School on Long Island in New York State. She also is an adjunct faculty member of the State University of New York through which she coordinates the University in the High School Science Research Program. She recently completed her Master of Science degree in Marine Sciences and is now looking forward to broadening her horizons and sharing her diverse experiences with her students, colleagues, family and the public. Kimberly hopes that by remotely sharing her adventures on the Submarine Ring of Fire Cruise, she will encourage others to respect the world around them and share her passion for learning about it. She will be posting daily journal articles about her experience at sea and the NeMO project.
