Some microbes that live in seafloor hotsprings can live in water over 100° C (which is the boiling point of water at sealevel!).

More info on the temperature probes

Temperature data from NeMO NeT began to be accumulated on July 14, 2000. The variation seen in Probes A and B is due to tidal influences and currents as plumes of warm water wave back and forth over the probes. Probe C was placed on the camera system itself and does not experience these tidal effects to the extent of A and B, giving the smoother-looking data record.
